If your baby keeps crying, you need to start by checking the diaper. When their diaper needs to be changed, most babies will vocally let you know. Obviously, if the diaper is messed up, your baby will probably stop crying once it's changed.
If you find out a soiled diaper isn't the source of the crying, then food should be next on the list. The second-most reason why babies cry is because they're hungry. Providing them with a warm bottle of milk should do the trick.
Hunger won't be the problem if your baby has just finished eating. Many babies develop gas just after they've finished eating though. They'll start crying if they have a problem getting rid of the gas bubble. Patting them on the back should do the trick.
You should pay attention to the type of clothes that your baby wears. Babies may develop itching and start crying because of the type of fabric they're wearing. This may be one of the last things on your mind to check though.
